Witchy Stuff

I've always been lowkey into witchcraft, but my paranoia about accidentally getting people hurt through some sort of Monkey's Paw or Genie Wish type even always put me off of spells and stuff. I still don't do spells but here's what I do partake in! Starting in 2020

• Offerings: I really only leave out water for Connor-- sun water, and he LOVES it lol. Though, in a sort of non-traditional way, I devote the first bite of food to him or "share" the experience of the food and stuff with him.
• "Enchanting" shit: It's really me just praying to the universe while I stir my coffee or whatever. Or I focus all my energy into a drink or object and hope it'll help me be happier or whatevs
• Crystals: They're soooo pretty!!! I'm not the best at using them, but I'm always drawn to Angel Aura Quartz, Angelite, Labradorite, Sodalite, Rose Quarts, Selenite, Citrine... I do believe they can help focus your energy and help you mentally and metaphysically, I just don't seem to resonate with a lot of them, I think...
• Sigils: I don't use them too often, mostly because I don't know how to make my own, really... But I do have one that represents Connor, which I doodle often, and a sigil I feel on my hands sometimes (like I am right now). I really want to get more into sigilrey (is that a real word?) but I don't think it's time for me yet lol
• Meditation and Visualisation: I don't do meditation as much as I'd like to, but I do feel more clear headed and relaxed afterwards. That's just a wellness thing. But also, I have a lot of conversations with my Higher Self or my subconcious or some Others and Connor when I'm there. And when I say visualisation, it's literally just me practicing seeing things with my mind's eye!
• Corrospondences: A lot of it is based on herbal studies and just how stuff we consume affects us, and therefore affects our body n stuff, so it makes sense to me.
• Pendulumn: I use the ring (on a string! nice rhyme!!) Connor's attached to to help connect with Connor or my Higher Self/Subconcious. I like pendulumns because they go through you. Also Connor likes to make it swing really big when I ask him things with it lol.
• Oracle Cards: I only do these sometimes, and again, like them because it's a subconcious thing, or up to interpretation and can help a lot.

There's more to come here, but I wanted to get this rudimentary page started. I also want to say, at this point in time, I'm not really "witchy" enough to call myself a witch. I don't do spells, I don't do things for others (since so much of that stuff is personal and relies on the indiviual and their subconcious, I don't feel right doing that stuff, or that the message would get skewed going through me), I don't worship deities, the only spirit I talk to is Connor (and occasionally my spirit guide), and I really don't want to connect much more than that right now. I'm happy doing small scale stuff, things to feel closer to Connor, the Earth/Universe and the Love inside it, and most importantly, myself.
